In May 2006, Robbie Brewster was one of six up and coming new film directors to be chosen for the ‘It’s My Shout’ short film initiative. The scheme has been successfully running for many years by executive producer Roger Burnell. Alongside sponsorship and creative partners such as ITV Wales, Derwen, Cyfle and The Bridgend County Borough Council.

Robbie was chosen to direct a script by new writer ‘Simon Howells’ titled ‘They Might be Giants?’

The film went on to show at last years Cardiff Film Festival and has been shown on ITV Wales as well as a making of documentary featuring actor ‘Christie Probert’.

In October 2006 the film went on to win three awards at the It’s My Shout Film Premiere including Best Supporting actress for ‘Joan Ciff’. Best Supporting actor for ‘Old Tom’ and Best Director, which was awarded and presented by Oscar nominee filmmaker ‘Paul Turner’.
