Sandrunning was shot on super 8 cine film as part of my final year degree at film school. The location of Southerndown was right on the doorstep from where I was born and my favorite place in Wales.

Shot in April 1997, the film was originally based on what the imagination depicts when hearing a favorite piece of music.

Sandrunning has been edited to many different types of music and in particular to the Black Darks favorite ‘DJ SHADOW’.

At least one version of Sandrunning can be seen in the PEEPSHOW.
